Utah Permit to Carry a Concealed Firearm Supplemental Course - $50 Includes notarized and certified application, photo & fingerprints This course takes approximately 90 minutes, classroom-only (MN range test adequate). This supplemental course will certify you for the Utah Permit to Carry a Concealed Firearm. The Utah non-resident Permit is only $65.25 by mail and honored in up to 29 states (including Minnesota). Utah has more stringent disqualifications than Minnesota. Click HERE for the description. The course includes, at no additional cost, a notarized, certified Utah Permit Application and required photo and fingerprints. This is a $27 value (no side trips), included in your course fee. If you bring a photocopy of both sides of your driver’s license, a business envelope, a stamp and your credit card or checkbook, you can mail your UT application on your way home from class. Utah is processing applications in less than 60 days. Currently, no training is required to renew a Utah Permit! Once you have it, renewal only requires an application, $10 and a photo! This supplemental course only covers the additional material required by Utah. In addition to this course, Utah requires one of the following prerequisites in order to be certified: 1. You must have a verified AACFI MN Carry Permit (or Renewal) Course Certificate less than one year old on the UT Course date (you can take this course the same day). -OR- 2. If your AACFI MN Carry Permit (or Renewal) Course Certificate is more than one year old but less than four years old, you must audit a classroom session (no range test) of our MN Carry Permit Course. Audit class: $30, space available, in any regular MN Permit Course. -OR- 3. If you took a MN Permit Course other than from an AACFI-Certified instructor or your AACFI MN Permit (or Renewal) Course Certificate is more than four years old, you must take the full AACFI MN Permit (or Renewal) Course.
